Founded in 1984 in Barranquilla, Colombia, Energía Solar (ESWindows) has grown from a small solar-heater workshop into one of the Americas’ premier sources for architectural glass, aluminum windows, doors and façade systems. The company now operates as the fenestration division of Tecnoglass Inc. (NYSE: TGLS), Latin America’s largest architectural-glass fabricator, giving clients direct access to world-class engineering, R & D and supply-chain resources.

From its 1.2 million-sq-ft, vertically integrated manufacturing campus, ESWindows designs, tempers, extrudes, coats and assembles everything in-house—delivering energy-efficient, hurricane-impact-rated curtain walls, window walls, sliding doors, railings and more. This scale lets the firm serve 300-plus commercial and residential customers across North, Central and South America while keeping tight control over quality, lead times and costs.
