Christian Grevstad is an award-winning Seattle-based interior designer whose work blends worldly sophistication with a deep connection to nature. His journey began at age 11 on a commercial fishing boat in Alaska and evolved through studies in art, architecture, and design. A graduate of the University of Washington, Grevstad’s global experiences—from exploring Africa and India to meeting icons like Hubert de Givenchy in Paris—have shaped his distinctive aesthetic, which balances modernity with timeless elegance. His interiors are known for being sleek, serene, and deeply attuned to the client’s vision.
Through his firm, GREVSTAD Interior Design, Christian and his team offer turnkey design services across residential, yacht, retail, and hospitality projects, overseeing every detail from architecture to custom furnishings. In 2003, he launched the GREVSTAD Collection, a line of handcrafted furniture and textiles made primarily by local artisans and represented in showrooms across the U.S. and Europe. His Pioneer Square studio also features a fine art gallery showcasing notable artists and curated objets d’art, open to visitors Monday through Friday at grevstad.com.
