Lang used a soothing palette of whites and grays with a Cierre sofa and an Organic Looms custom rug. The dramatic rosewood grains of the Randolph & Hein swivel club chairs from Dean-Warren and coffee table by Peter Thomas Designs add warmth.

Oldroyd added a slatted, white-oak screen to define the entry and the living room. The cross-cut, elm-wood coffee table, designed by Oldroyd and crafted by MRCW, adds an organic element to the living room.

White oak similarly envelops the breakfast nook, for which the designers devised a built-in banquette with a cushion in Holly Hunt vegan leather and a custom I-beam table in bleached white ash from Verellen. Carl Hansen & Son’s CH23 chairs continue the warm-wood theme, while a printed-linen Roman shade and Allied Maker’s Dome pendant add softness and light.

The breakfast room’s salon-style art wall features a piece from Gary Komarin’s “The French Wig” series. Seating includes Densen side chairs by Egg Collective from M Naeve and original prototypes for a rope-wrapped dining chair by Christian Astuguevieille from W. Gardner Antiques. The pendant is Lindsey Adelman Studio.

The Antibes chandelier by Currey & Company highlights the breakfast area. The table by Matthew Hilton for De La Espada was purchased through The Future Perfect. The draperies, which continue through the main level, are made with Calvin Fabrics linen.

The breakfast nook is one of Katie’s favorite rooms. A built-in banquette and McGee & Co. chairs around a Lulu and Georgia table, along with a stunning mountain view, make it the perfect place to enjoy a casual meal.

In the breakfast nook, a Palecek pendant is poised above a Saarinen table from Design Within Reach for a deft pairing of organic and polished surfaces. Newfield had the Cowtan & Tout banquette fabric specially treated to stand up to heavy use. Throughout the home is concrete flooring from Ron O’Dell’s Custom Concrete.

Graphic custom carpeting by Davis Rugs adds color and pattern to the bright and airy family room, where a pair of sofas by TCS Designs, Inc. and chairs by Redford House surround an organic coffee table from CAI Designs.

Adding another organic element to the dining room is the textured abstract artwork by Michael Duryea. Paquette worked in more rich materials by dressing the walls of the room with Phillip Jeffries silk and the Knoll chairs from Design Within Reach with a wool blend.

“We think of those window walls as a Mondrian through which you look at the landscape,” Kligerman says of the glazing. In the dining area, a custom live-edge dining table by Room complements the view of the woods. Around it are Sergio Rodrigues dining chairs from Espasso in New York. The metal-and-glass buffet is by Metal Dimensions.
