Paint + Pattern
In the dining room, Franco Luce’s iconic 1970s Murano-glass Lotus Leaf chandelier offers a flowery counterpoint to inherited Chinese Chippendale chairs and Suzanne Kasler’s Choate dining table for Hickory Chair. A Selena Beaudry abstract from Hidell Brooks Gallery and draperies of Jim Thompson’s Leo de Janeiro linen underscore the wife’s penchant for jewel tones.

Green House
Designer Ashley Sharpe dressed the living room in Benjamin Moore’s Gondola Ride, which plays to the Lee Jofa Hollyhock linen on the English armchair and window banquette pillows. A braided Stark carpet and two-tier Louis J. Solomon cocktail table anchor the space while a pair of Baker chairs in mocha Kravet velvet face Lee Jofa’s Royale sofa. Gilded flowers by artist Tommy Mitchell in Lucite box frames add another garden reference.

Shake It Up
Built by Bill Truitt WoodWorks, the library’s honey-colored paneling reinterprets that of the wife’s 1920s childhood home. Insets of hand-blocked and foiled Flat Vernacular wallpaper give architect Matt Benson’s concept contemporary verve. Benjamin Moore’s Classic Burgundy graces the hideaway bar, which was inspired by a feature at Houston’s historic de Menil house.

Dark Room
“I felt confident adding darker accents, thanks to the ceiling height,” says designer Abbie Anderson. She coated the living room built-ins—which flank a Chris Buff print, High Key Mustang—in Benjamin Moore’s Twilight Zone, then added a cozy factor with an Artek walnut coffee table and an AllModern houndstooth ottoman.
Kiddie Corner
The upstairs sitting room, which serves as a lively retreat for the owners’ children, features built-in daybeds fabricated by Mueller Nicholls and appointed with cushions custom-made with a Holland & Sherry fabric. The leather Moroccan poufs and Moorish sconces are by Tazi Designs.

Sunny Outlook
Paneled walls painted Benjamin Moore’s Golden Bounty set the tone for the interiors, radiating a sunny sensibility among refined antiques including the 19th-century Louis Phillipe chest from Huff Harrington in Atlanta and a lamp from Antique Pavilion. A Couristan Cape Town Collection Antelope runner leads upstairs.

Pops Of Purple
Chair backs are upholstered with Donghia’s Ramatuelle in Lavande (the seats wear a hardy Garrett leather), tying to the purple hues of Cole & Son’s Versailles Grand wallpaper. The rug is hemp and silk by Doris Leslie Blau.

Love Story
Designer Ashley Sharpe also chose Benjamin Moore’s My Valentine to echo the reds of the guest room’s star print. The petite console table by Oomph is lacquered in Benjamin Moore’s Purple Rain and the Visual Comfort & Co. sconce wears a custom shade of Sister Parish fabric. A bronze Made Goods mirror features three bird figurines at the top, picking up the three birds motif in Kalamkari All Over.

Pops Of Pink
Pink and purple were top of mind for the daughter’s bedroom, where a Lee Industries lounge chair, a Jonathan Adler pouf anddraperies in Lorca’s Xanadu Chintz are anchored by The Land of Nod’s Magic carpet. The Zagazoo Cockatoos wallcovering by Osborne & Little packs a final punch and ties all the elements together.

Shine On
Designer Caroline Rafferty brings a high-gloss effect into the dining room with Benjamin Moore’s Pacific Sea Teal and a custom painted floor. Midcentury pendants hang above a 1940s Maison Jansen table and Anthropologie chairs. Frank Stella artwork is displayed against Thibaut’s Treviso Marble wallpaper. A vintage Tommi Parzinger floor lamp stands by draperies made of a Carolyn Ray material.

Pretty In Pastels
“We wanted the loft-like living room to be a palette cleanser,” says designer Cheryl Setting Mosher, who alongside fellow designer Erin Fearins, chose Benjamin Moore’s Glass Slipper paint for the custom bookshelves. Anchoring the room is the clients’ own drum coffee table and a set of heirloom wood chairs recovered in a Pierre Frey floral fabric.

Hidden Gem
Designer Ashley Sharpe saved several rolls of Tortoise wallpaper by Nina Campbell for Osborne & Little from a project years ago, hoping to use it somewhere special one day. She found the perfect home in a hallway that hosts a wet bar. Custom cabinetry by Bilotta is painted Benjamin Moore’s My Valentine. Petite hanging lanterns by Visual Comfort & Co. illuminate the alluring space.

Moody Glam
Inspired by a page she tore from a magazine, homeowner Jill Alberts wanted a moody, all-black office, which designer Sarah Vaile achieved with Farrow & Ball’s Pitch Black. In dramatic contrast are a custom white sofa covered in Kravet linen, a white lacquer desk from The CEH in Dallas and as well as a bold Turkish rug.

Verdant Vision
Each guest bedroom was inspired by “an imaginary guest we pictured staying there,” noted designer Eche Martinez. The green room took on a distinctly gentlemanly air with Benjamin Moore’s Tarrytown Green adding depth to the arched walls. He carved out a reflective alcove with a Sheraton-style antique desk, a 1950s brass-and-walnut midcentury Viscount armchair by Dan Johnson, an Arteriors Celeste accent table, and a Caleb Zipperer armchair upholstered in Zoffany green velvet.

Majestic Moment
Designer Kati Curtis chose Benjamin Moore’s Wild Mulberry paint for the hall that connects the main suite and the dressing room. “It’s small, with high ceilings, so we gave it drama,” she says. A console from Oly Studio sits beneath a painting by YangYang Pan. A piece by Mr. Brainwash joins a vintage chair at right.
