Going for glam? Consider adding Calacatta Viola marble to your space. The rare stone is in high demand these days, and for good reason. With its signature purple-tone veining that gives it an ultra-luxe appearance, Calacatta Viola marble makes a striking addition to any home design.

Laetitia Laurent of Laure Nell Interiors regards it a great option for a multitude of spaces. "Bathrooms are a natural fit [for marble] because of how intimate and tactile they are. You really experience the materials up close," says the South Florida-based designer. "But, of course, I also love marble in kitchens, where it can ground the room or create a bold design moment."

Wherever you decide to implement it, get inspired by the marble-laden rooms below.

"Marble pairs beautifully with raw, natural elements—warm woods, patinated metals and limewashed walls. These materials balance the polish of the stone and help the space feel grounded and inviting."
