Design West Hollywood 2026 Brings “Magical Thinking” to Los Angeles
Event Details
From September 29 through October 1, the West Hollywood Design District came alive for the second annual Design West Hollywood, with LUXE Interiors + Design serving as the official media partner. Centered around “Magical Thinking,” the three-day celebration brought together designers, architects and industry leaders for a dynamic lineup of conversations, showroom experiences and gatherings.
The festivities kicked off with an evening reception at Luminaire, setting the stage for three days of all things design.
LUXE Editor in Chief Jill Cohen and Los Angeles Homes Editor Kelly Phillips Badal joined the programming, leading conversations alongside an impressive roster of design talent, including Jeff Andrews, Amy Meier, Martyn Lawrence Bullard, Jay Jeffers and Gulla Jónsdóttir, as well as Academy Award-winning costume designer Mark Bridges and Emmy-nominated designer Peter Gurski. Topics ranged from immersive interiors and the influence of film and television on design to hospitality storytelling, the evolving definition of luxury and the future of Los Angeles. Book previews and signings offered further insight into the creative perspectives shaping the industry.
The event culminated in a closing soirée at Bang & Olufsen, bringing together the design community for an evening of conversation and celebration.
LUXE extends a special thank you to the West Hollywood Design District, Visit West Hollywood, co-producers Kelsey Dodson-Smith and Jo Campbell Fujii, our sponsors and participating showrooms, and all of the designers, speakers and guests who helped make Design West Hollywood 2026 a memorable celebration of creativity and collaboration.
