How do you define the concept of home? On Ideas of Order, the award-winning California Closets podcast, celebrated interior designer, TV personality, author and host Jeremiah Brent aims to answer just that question.

Through candid conversations, Brent and his special guests discuss the meaning of home, and how those memories and spaces shape our lives. A recent addition to the SURROUND Podcast Network family, which also hosts the design podcast Clever, Ideas of Order launches season 2 on Tuesday, January 23.

The new season kicks off with an engaging conversation between Brent and interior designer and Fixer Upper star Joanna Gaines as they talk about intentional spaces, crafting moments of togetherness and more. The two creatives and friends delve into the importance of balancing work and family life, with Gaines sharing her journey from her childhood in Wichita, Kansas, to the early days of Magnolia Market and eventually becoming a television sensation.

In addition to Gaines, who arguably popularized modern farmhouses, other guests for season 2 include famed make-up artist and entrepreneur Bobbi Brown, American fashion designer Jenna Lyons, and even Brent’s mother, Gwen, and daughter Poppy make a special appearance. The new season promises deeper dialogues and personal stories centered around the memories and belongings that anchor each of us in new and old spaces.

“Home is what tethers us to who we are,” Brent says, “In each new episode, I want to uncover meaningful stories and learn about how where we’ve lived and how we’ve lived has shaped each of us in unexpected ways.”
