The Avery, San Francisco
SoMa has become San Francisco’s mecca for high-tech and luxury condominiums. Now The Avery is adding even more sparkle to the city skyline with its 56-story glass tower and 118 condos offering panoramic views of the bay.
Designed by Rem Koolhaas’ Pritzker Prize-awarded Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA), the striking glass facade tapers at angles as it rises 618 feet into the sky. The ground floor lures with limestone and bronze details, and the one-, two- and three-bedroom residences–plus a collection of penthouses–feature floor-to-ceiling windows in every room, many of which overlook the new Salesforce Tower nearby.
Clodagh Design created nature-inspired interiors using textured woods and natural stones, including wide-plank oak flooring, hand-selected Michelangelo marble for kitchen counters and Cristallo Pearl marble counters in the master bathrooms. “The Avery’s interiors were shaped by the Bay Area’s magnificent natural attractions, from the redwoods to the ocean,” said Clodagh. “Each finish was carefully selected to connect people to nature.”
Miele appliances, Kaldewei soaking tubs and Dornbracht fixtures complement the feng shui-influenced design with luxury touches. Avery Lane, a neighborhood paseo lined with upscale dining and retail partners, anchors the building and connects residents to the surrounding community.
Move-ins will begin as early as mid-2019.
