HERMAN MILLER OPENS FIRST COLORADO LOCATION

Making its brick-and-mortar Colorado debut is Herman Miller, which recently opened its first Centennial State location in Denver’s Cherry Creek North shopping district. This new store, where customers can test-drive an array of ergonomic designs spanning the brand’s performance seating, workspace, gaming and lifestyle models, is the perfect opportunity to experience the benefits of sitting well firsthand.

In addition, on-site specialists are here to explain each piece’s unique features, from breathable suspension materials to adjustable backrests. The customizable finishes and stylish details of recent introductions—including the Embody chair and the Wilkes modular sofa group—share the spotlight with such iconic classics as the Eames lounge chair. “Balance, comfort and wellness were focus points when we began introducing new Herman Miller shopping experiences,” says Debbie Propst, president of global retail for MillerKnoll. “This remains true for our Cherry Creek store as we continue to create spaces that support the ever-changing needs of the hybrid worker and modern home.”

INTERIOR DEFINE EXPANDS TO CHERRY CREEK NORTH WITH DEFINE STUDIO

Since its launch in 2014, Interior Define has been helping online shoppers customize thousands of upholstered furnishings to fit their unique spaces and tastes. This past year, the process became even easier—and more personal—as the digitally native, direct-to-consumer firm expanded its brick-and-mortar presence across the country to more than 30 retail locations. Joining the list is a new store in Cherry Creek North.

At the Denver Define Studio, Colorado homeowners can touch and test components of their bespoke creations before purchasing, all in a showroom that’s been thoughtfully designed and decorated to have a residential feel. The 6,517-square-foot space displays more than 80 percent of Interior Define’s current product assortment (including tables, rugs and lighting) and offers an extensive sample library of fabric and rug swatches, leg options and more. Add complimentary design advice and slick rendering tools, and it’s easier than ever for customers to sit in the designer’s seat.
