Love At First Sight: Farmhouse Style Abode In The Chicago Suburbs

The dining room is decorated in black, white and gold, including a dramatic chandelier and a painting featuring gold leaf by Cleveland Dean.

Vertical shiplap paneling, a collaboration between architectural designer Patrick Fortelka and builder Julie Laux, allows a dramatic work by artist Cleveland Dean to be a focal point of the dining room. An urchin-like chandelier by Kelly Wearstler and sconces from Hudson Valley Lighting pick up on the gold leaf in the painting.
