On the heels of another exciting Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas, attendees are left inspired for the future of kitchen and bath spaces. “KBIS 2025 showed unmatched innovation, design, and craftsmanship,” says Bill Darcy, president and CEO of the NKBA, which runs the show. “It is truly the unique opportunity in our industry to see best-in-class kitchen and bath products firsthand, and is a must-attend event for designers and architects to connect with cutting-edge brands.” From new appliance technology to futuristic materials and everything in between, here are the highlights we predict will make a big impact in home design in the year ahead.

1. Surface Innovations

Caesarstone is launching a new silica-free line of countertops with roughly 80 percent recycled materials—answering the call for surface options that are safer for fabricators and stoneworkers. The ICON collection consists of nine colors (Wild Taj, a warm apricot hue is shown here) and can be applied beyond just kitchen countertops and backsplashes. Durable, eco-conscious and design-forward, this line is prime for the future of kitchen design.

2. A New Spin On A Classic Finish

There’s no denying the popularity of brass in plumbing and hardware, and it’s due time there’s some nuance to the timeless choice. Cue Kallista, who is introducing a new finish of Blush Brass. Not to be confused for a rose gold, this distinct finish embodies warm, brown-gold undertones. Here, Blush Brass is shown on the new Bezel collection, which features an Art Deco-inspired silhouette topped with a striking stone ornamentation.

3. Induction Advancements

Induction remains at the forefront of kitchen innovations, offering a safer, more efficient way to cook, and brands like Dacor are perfecting and enhancing their induction offerings as a result. The brand’s new Induction Ranges, available in 30” and 36” sizes, boasts a new Anti-Scratch Glass matte finish cooktop for improved durability. Another unique addition? Knob controls. These give home cooks the tangible experience of turning on a burner as they would gas, helping gas converts ease into a familiar experience while using induction.

4. Taking It Outside

Outdoor living categories remain strong and steady five years after the pandemic inspired a newfound interest in spending more time outside. Many companies are getting into the game, including luxury refrigeration brand, True Residential. Known for their trusty refrigeration, they have teamed up with Caliber, a leader in outdoor grills, for a grill that combines both companies’ areas of expertise. The Rockwell Social Grill, designed by David Rockwell, is available in four sizes and offered in stainless steel or any of True Residential’s curated colors, like their new Olive color shown here. Paired with one of True’s outdoor refrigerators, you have a top-of-the-line outdoor kitchen.

This year brought on many, including Artistic Tile who partnered with Donghia (a textile, wallcovering and furniture line under Kravet) to reimagine two of their fabric designs into show-stopping mosaics.
