Starting out as hand-drawn images by founder Christina Fluegge, the patterns are realized by artisan craftspeople in San Francisco. The five motifs of Holiday House, which are screen-printed on Belgian linen, evoke the ease of summer. Lisbet, for example, was inspired by flowers in bloom by the roadside, while Elodie suggests sand patterns that appear at low tide.
